Junior High WOTW: Dereck Boyum

Dereck Boyum is this week’s JH wrestler of the week. Dereck is the son of Lyn and Lisa Boyum and is an 8th grader at PEM. Dereck is this week’s wrestler of the week due to his outstanding performance in the Triton/Westfield triangular last Thursday evening. Despite the pressure of competing in his first two varsity matches, Boyum scored two victories, one of them coming in PEM’s 34-33 victory over Westfield. Dereck is a regular before school weight lifter and also competes in football and baseball.
